Timidity:

    Timidity is the quality of being shy, nervous, and lacking in self-confidence. It often involves a fear of the unfamiliar, uncertainty, or making decisions. The word comes from the Latin timidus, meaning "fearful". 

   Timidity, शर्मीलापन, घबराहट और आत्मविश्वास की कमी का गुण है। इसमें अक्सर अपरिचित चीज़ों का डर, अनिश्चितता या निर्णय लेने का डर शामिल होता है। यह शब्द लैटिन शब्द "टिमिडस" से आया है, जिसका अर्थ है "भयभीत"।

Strangers:

      A "stranger" is a person who is unknown or unfamiliar to someone, or someone who does not belong in a specific place.

      "अजनबी" वह व्यक्ति होता है जो किसी के लिए अज्ञात या अपरिचित हो, या वह व्यक्ति जो किसी विशिष्ट स्थान से संबंधित न हो

Explanation :

      This rubric can be used for such patients who become timid in front of strangers but behave normally among familiar people. This is often seen in children. The child's parents tell that the child is shy in coming in front of new people, in speaking, he hides, cannot speak properly or does not speak at all but behaves normally with family members or people he knows.

      इस रूब्रिक का इस्तेमाल ऐसे मरीज़ों के लिए किया जा सकता है जो अजनबियों के सामने तो डरपोक हो जाते हैं, लेकिन परिचित लोगों के बीच सामान्य व्यवहार करते हैं। बच्चों में अक्सर ऐसा देखा जाता है। बच्चे के माता-पिता बताते हैं कि बच्चा नए लोगों के सामने आने में शर्माता है, छुपता है, ठीक से बोल नहीं पाता या बोलता ही नहीं, लेकिन परिवार के सदस्यों या जान-पहचान वालों के साथ सामान्य व्यवहार करता है।
